It puts you behind that offensive group, a little more or less like Madden NFL, allowing you to 2K23 MT gain a thorough view of the floor, and also spot any lanes that are open or have wide-open teammates. Additionally, we have found this perspective ideal for defense, since you can get an entire view of the player you're protecting and any movement around you. Of course you can alter the zoom or height for a less sloping angle, and you can alter the motion blur by changing the settings if you find that affects the speed of your movements.
A new feature of NBA 2K23 allows you to determine the speed at which the shot meter appears, in the event that it's enabled. There are four options available in Controller Settings These are: Very Early, Late, Early, along with Very Late. While tinkering with this will not alter the motions of your jump shots, it can alter how quickly the meter is displayed. Personally, we love it to be Very Early.
The meter will appear nearly immediately after pressing the button, and provides you with some extra milliseconds in order to adjust your release time, but if you feel you're always undercooking your shots, you may prefer extremely Late or someplace between. The best way to find what you like is to try it out with your favorite players in 2KU.
By default, your Defensive Assist Strength is set to 50 within the controller Settings. This feature is designed to predict the movement of the opponents who you're trying to protect, but we've observed that it's a bit violent at times. You can disable it entirely if your confidence is in your own abilities on the sticks, but we'd recommend keeping it on for a less, to ensure that you possess a little magnetism to help you stay ahead of your competitors. Take your time in 2KU to discover what works your best, but personally we believe around 25 is the optimal number.
There's nothing worse in NBA 2K23 than seeing a player with a wide open space and accidentally throwing an object to the wrong person. Fortunately, within Controller Settings, you can adjust your Pass Target Profile. The weighting is determined by three distinct parameters: Pass Target Direction, the Pass Target Distance, and Pass Target openness.
There is a profile which puts passing a tick further toward openness in comparison to the default setting which we have found to be the most effective option, but you can tweak it further to find the one that works flawlessly for you. You can also lead your teammate into the open space by pressing Circle in the middle, and when you select Full Receiver Control within the Receiver Control Buy NBA 2K23 MT option you'll actually be able to manually move your teammate when you hold this button.
